Many rumors floated around about actor and professional wrestler André the Giant (born André René Roussimoff on May 19, 1946 in Grenoble, Isère, France) and the size of his penis, however he never made its size known to the public.
Some have suggested that his shear size, standing 7' 4" tall (though some claim he was closer to only 7') and weighing over 500 pounds must mean that his penis was in proportion, and thus large, however medical studies have shown that there is no correlation between height and weight, and penis length.
However, according to WebMD, researchers found that a shorter ratio between the length of a man's index and ring fingers tended to correlate to a large penis size.
We found this photo of André's hand, and it looks like a very small ratio which may imply a large sized penis.
André's body size was due to a hormonal disorder that caused excess growth hormone to be produced by the pituitary gland; he towered above his peers by age 12 when he reached 6' 3".
In 1976 he played Bigfoot in the TV series The Six Million Dollar Man, but is probably best remembered for his role as Fezzik in the 1987 film The Princess Bride.
Another wrestling star, The Great Khali (born Dalip Singh Rana on August 27, 1972 in Dhirana, Himachal Pradesh, India) suffered from the same condition as André, and had a tumor that was causing it removed at the end of July (André died of congestive heart failure in 1983 due to the condition).
The man with the largest penis on record is Jonah Falcon (born Jonah Adam Falcon on July 29, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York); in an HBO documentary in 1999 he was measured as 9" when flaccid and 13.5" when erect.
